In January 2022, UPLIFT Florida Network received its 501(c)(3) approval from the IRS. UPLIFT is fully authorized to receive tax-exempt donations. As UPLIFT grew, it continued to benefit from the collaborative support of The Patterson Foundation via consulting services through May 2023.

To achieve financial sustainability, UPLIFT seeks funding from diverse funding sources such as state and regional government agencies, businesses, organizations, and individuals.
